Camila Cabello empató a su excompañera del Reputation Tour con cuatro premios, incluido el de nuevo artista del año y tres reconocimientos diferentes por su Nosotros Hot 100 No. 1 Havana. El poder de las chicas estaba claramente vivo este año, ya que también fue una gran noche para Cardi B: la rapera I Like It se llevó a casa tres premios y superó a Drake y Post Malone como artista favorito de rap/hip-hop.
